Ultimate Warrior, born James Brian Hellwig (later legally changed to Warrior), was a professional wrestler best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) from 1987 to 1991 and again in 1992 and 1996. He was a major draw during the WWF's late 1980s and early 1990s boom period.
Warrior's wrestling persona was characterized by intense energy, face paint, and a distinctive running entrance to the ring. He quickly rose to prominence, capturing the WWF Intercontinental Championship and later defeating Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI to become both the WWF Champion and Intercontinental Champion simultaneously, a rare feat.
